I wear two hats with different names: Madison Woods when I’m wearing the artist hat, Roxann Riedel in real life and real estate. I'm a rock-smashing paint-making artist & a sales agent for Montgomery Whiteley Realty. Hailing from the wild Ozarks in Kingston, Arkansas where my husband and I work toward a sustainable lifestyle.

Here’s the page where I recorded my process of painting this black bear. https://whttps://www.wildozark.com/the-forager-painting/

All of the pigments are locally foraged by me here at Wild Ozark and the surrounding area. I used 12 x 16″ Arches hot press paper mounted onto board. It is varnished and framed in barnwood without glass. The varnish offers UV and environmental protection.

The painting is sold, but will remain on exhibit until August 28.
