A Muck Boot and Pj Kind of Day

I didn’t feel like getting out of bed this morning. It was cold in the room when I woke and I just felt lazy. But the hens clucked louder as the minutes ticked past.

I knew the dogs and horses and cats also were plotting their mutiny if I didn’t get outside to feed soon.

Wet water (as opposed to frozen water) and food time for critters.
Wet water (as opposed to frozen water) and food time for critters. Turbo’s and the chickens’ water buckets aren’t heated, so I have to add warm water so they can drink after eating their breakfast. But they have to get to it quick while it’s still wet.

There was no where else I needed to go, except to the keyboard, but I also needed firewood in the house. It was a muck boot and pj kind of day.
