Hi, I’m Madison Woods. Thanks for considering me for handling your website build and web-related needs. Here’s a list of services I can provide and the standard cost for each. Questions? Please email me at madison@wildozark.com.

Basic Website ($1200)

I use WordPress to create websites. If you do not want to invest in a domain name or hosting at this time, I am happy to build your site on the free version of WordPress. That means your site address will look something like this: https://www.wordpress.yourbusinessname.com. To use only your business name, you’ll need a domain name registration and hosting (I do offer this service, too. It is an annually recurring expense. As of 2023, it’s $85/yr., and the first year’s cost is included in the Basic website.)

A Basic Website Includes:

  • About page
  • Contact page
  • Blog (does not include blog posts)
  • Privacy Policy page
  • Domain name and hosting if not already owned (this is an annual recurring expense)
  • Free Security Certificate (this allows you to use https, which means your site is less likely to be corrupted by hackers)

Customer provides all information and images used to build the site. Customer must own the copyright of images provided. If you’ll need custom graphics for page headers, blog post or page content, etc. that is an extra service. See the heading for that below.

Google Listing for your Website ($200)

A listing on Google helps your website get found in local searches or general searches when someone is looking for the products/services you provide. Other search engines like Bing and Yahoo will often pick up this information, but I can also create a listing for your site in Bing if you’d prefer. If you’d like a listing in both Google AND Bing, the cost is $300 for both.

Add a Security Certificate ($200)

If you have an existing site that is not using https, I can add a security certificate and ensure that your website renders under the secure protocol. You’ll need to have access to your server login credentials so that I can access the necessary files. If you have a site that uses a shopping cart or collects personal information (names, email addresses, physical addresses, etc.) you’ll need a paid certificate. Cost for that is recurring and is usually around $35/yr. The first year is included in the $200 charge for setup.

Website SEO ($100/hr)

I can improve non-existent SEO (search engine optimization) on your current website and images. All images on your site or blog should have alt-tags that mention the main focus of your page/post. If your website isn’t being found by people in your local area or within your website’s topic, you most likely need SEO help.

Site Maintenance ($100/hr)

Your website needs to be updated regularly. This is something you can do for yourself if you’d like, and I’ll give you the login credentials to do so. However, an experienced user will know how to backup your site and restore it in the event there is a glitch during routine maintenance. Hiring me to do your site maintenance means that I’ll keep regular backups of your entire site and restore it if it goes down due to a problem during updates. You’ll be billed for this as needed, but at least 1 hour monthly.

Content Creation ($100/hr)

If you don’t want to write your own blog posts, I’m happy to do that for you. Each post will be at least 300 words (a good length for SEO reasons) and optimized for search engines. You will need to provide images (1 for each post at least), or I can visit your workplace to take photos and/or interview personnel to create the content. Each post will be billed at a 1 hour rate, but it will be more (to include travel and on-site time) if it requires me to make onsite visits.

Custom Graphics ($100/hr)

I create the graphics found throughout my own websites (the one at the top of this page is an example). Header images, banners, drawings, paintings, or other types of graphics are possible. Minimum time charged is 1 hour. Any onsite time will result in more than 1 hour and includes travel time.
