The Pigments
This painting of a landing goshawk (Accipiter gentilis) is done with Ozark pigments, handmade watercolors by Madison Woods. The bright white in the feather fluff is derived from purified pigment not hand-foraged by the artist. All other colors are derived from hand-foraged and processed Ozark pigments. All pigments used are light-fast and permanent.
Collectible Earthy Paintings
This painting is one of the Wild Ozark Birds of Prey series of paintings.
