About the Artist
Madison Woods is a nature artist living in rural Madison county, Arkansas on 160 acres of wilderness she calls Wild Ozark. Before she starts a painting, first she makes her paints by hand from rocks, clay, soot, and bone, and a few outsourced pigments. These rich colors form an earthy palette, which is reflected in her paintings of wildlife, landscapes, and imagined scenes influenced by her relationship to nature.
Reconnect to nature through earthy art from Wild Ozark.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this an American made product?
Yes it is! Madison uses a commercial printer to produce the prints. While the printer is not American-made, the paper she uses is sourced from Breathing Color, a Texas company. Her paints are made by hand in her home studio. Some of her supplies are imported, such as the oils for the paint matrix and her brushes. But the end result is crafted by the artist by hand in Arkansas.
Are the prints light-fast?
Yes. All of her prints are on archival paper using lightfast, archival inks on a commercial art printer. However, you should never hang art prints in direct sunlight because that will cause UV damage that even archival materials can’t avoid. Even her original art is lightfast, unless she specifically states that a less than lightfast pigment was used. Earth pigments are the most lightfast natural colors available.
