Simple Survival Skills and Rural Life Hacks #lifehacks #simplesurvivalskills

Life hack

Life hack (or life hacking) refers to any trick, shortcut, skill, or novelty method that increases productivity and efficiency, in all walks of life

A simple life hack (or lifehack, also found as a searchable hashtag in Twitter, #lifehack) can sometimes save the day. There will be times when you can’t get to the store for a few days. There may come a time when you won’t be able to go to a store for much longer. Knowing how to use these simple survival skills will help.

This is my collection of things I’ve learned, and little (or big) things Rob has done to make our rural life more efficient and comfortable since moving to this remote location in the Ozarks of northwest Arkansas. It takes us thirty minutes just to get to pavement and another fifteen to the nearest town. The nearest town is very small, so add another thirty to reach a real city, one that is still small by large city standards.

If you have some tips or want to share your life hacks or simple survival skills with the Wild Ozark readers, please leave a comment or send it as an email with photos if you have them. My address is madison@wildozark.com.

Perhaps not so stylish a way to wear my shawl, but it is very warm!
A shawl can do more than keep you warm!
