A sitting goshawk (Accipiter gentilis) in mostly Ozark pigments, handmade watercolors by Madison Woods. The bright white in the feather fluff is derived from purified pigment not hand-foraged by the artist. All other colors are derived from hand-foraged and processed Ozark pigments.
About Prints from Wild Ozark
All prints (and note cards) are made in house from archival quality materials using a large format professional art printer. Quality is important to me, and I’ve been burned by third party printers once too often. Mine are produced with an eye for exact color duplication. This way you can be assured that the colors you see are literally the colors of the Ozarks! I use archival pigments and heavy archival watercolor paper.
