In between my birds, I like to paint nature fantasy. All of the colors in the original painting are derived from Ozark pigments that I gathered and process by hand. My “Inanna on Fire” is a mix of symbolism and various ancient goddess figures. Most recognizable in the imagery is probably the Mesopotamian snake goddess, but I was thinking of Inanna and the creative fires that burns in the depths of women.

Collectible Earthy Fantasy Paintings
My watercolor works always feature handmade watercolors. By using only my Wild Ozark Paleo Paints, my palette is limited to the colors of nature. My paintings will always be earthy and natural. No matter what the subject or style, you will instantly recognize it as my work.
This painting is part of the Four Elementals nature fantasy project. This is the Fire goddess/priestess. Wind and Water elementals are also available (may not be listed yet).
